Welcome to the website of the Association of Asian Convenience Store Owners and Merchants of Québec.

Convenience stores are often described as “small businesses,” but every owner-operator knows the truth: we are open early, close late, and make dozens of decisions every day—staffing, inventory, safety, compliance, customer service, and finances. For many independent owners, especially newcomers, those responsibilities can feel isolating. When regulations change, when costs rise, or when challenges happen on the ground, it is not always easy to know where to turn for clear information and practical support.
That is why our Association exists.
Our mission is simple and concrete: to unite owner-operators, strengthen our voice, and provide tools that make daily operations safer, more stable, and more sustainable. We work to share reliable updates, offer training and resources, build partnerships that create real member benefits, and represent the concerns of convenience store owners in conversations that affect our sector and our communities.
This Association is built on respect and cooperation. Regardless of background, language, or store size, we believe every member deserves to be heard and supported. When we stand together, we can protect our interests more effectively and contribute more strongly to Québec’s economy and local neighborhoods.
Thank you for visiting. I invite you to explore our programs, join as a member, and take part in our activities. Your participation matters—because the Association is only as strong as the people who support it.
Sincerely,
Gary Leung
